Pre-employment checks

All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfactory completion of the following pre-employment checks.

Right to work in the UK – Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK at the interview stage.

Employment references – Applicants will be required to provide details of two employment referees which should include their current/most recent employer. References will be requested once a conditional offer of employment is accepted.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks – Where required, applicants will be asked to provide ID required for a DBS check. This will be requested at interview stage. Once a conditional offer of employment is accepted the successful candidate will be registered on to the online DBS system to begin the checking process. Please refer to the job description to see if a DBS check is required for the position you are applying for.

An unconditional offer will only be made upon satisfactory completion of all relevant pre-employment checks.

  • Administration Officer - West Midlands

    Job Role: Administration Officer – West Midlands

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Demonstrable experience in an office administrator role or equivalent including diary management, dealing with correspondence, preparation of meeting papers and general administrative duties
    • A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and hands on IT experience of database packages including electronic filing systems and online platforms
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage the time of self, prioritising tasks to meet challenging deadlines
    • High level of customer service skills

    Salary: NJC scale spinal point 4 – 6 (£18,933 – £19,698)

    Location: The successful post holder will initially work from home

    Hours:  36 hours per week

    Job Role: HOPELINEUK Adviser – Warrington

    We are looking to recruit a HOPELINEUK Adviser to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINEUK and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • a degree or professional qualification in Health, Nursing, Social Work, Community Work or a related discipline
    • previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health
    • a proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people
    • experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels
    • the ability to empathise, support and build rapport with suicidal people and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the remit of the service boundaries

    Salary: NJC Scale SCP 24-28 (£28,672- £32,234 per annum)

    Location: Warrington

    Hours: An average of 30 hours per week worked on a 7-day shift system including evening and weekends.

    Closing date: midnight on 31st October 2021
