SP-EAK – Suicide Prevention – Explore, Ask, Keep-Safe
An Introduction to Suicide Prevention skills
Key Objectives:
- To recognise and explore the ‘signs’ that may indicate someone is having thoughts of suicide
- To identify how these signs may present in someone from the HK community and how we can open up a sensitive conversation with them
- To understand how to be an effective listener and adopt a helpful attitude when responding to someone who’s thinking about suicide
- To know how to ask the question about suicide and have a dialogue about keeping them safe
