Fundraising in School can be a great chance to give pupils a sense of achievement and responsibility.

If you are thinking about getting your school involved or you are a pupil at school and want to get involved please email our fundraising team on to see how you can help to support PAPYRUS. Please note if you are under the age of 16 we will need an email from your parent, guardian or teacher informing us they are aware you are wanting to fundraise for PAPYRUS and that you are in contact with us.

What can your pupils gain from fundraising for PAPYRUS?

Fundraising for PAPYRUS is a great way to give pupils the chance to support a charity while gaining skills in team work, organisational skills and responsibility.

Students at Beech Hall School have showed incredible support for PAPYRUS by doing several events and this is what they had to say:

“It was so amazing, I loved every minute of it. I felt proud of myself and peers for our efforts” – Charles

“It was interesting to say the least, I am so proud of my classmates! The brownies at the end were amazing” – Molly

“It was an inspirational and beneficial experience never to be forgotten. Totally worth it!” – Melissa

“It was fun” – Sienna

“If I could go back in time I would redo it all as it was a massive achievement” – James

“I really enjoyed raising money for PAPYRUS as I know it will help loads of people” – Anna

“After training for months for the Triathlon all the hard work paid off, it was all worth it” – Jack

If you think this is something your school would like to get involved with we would love to hear from you! Please contact our fundraising team at

Universities and College

Fundraising as a whole university or College, team or individual is a great way to make new friends, help make a difference to many young lives and do something that looks good on your CV!

Ways you can support PAPYRUS at university or college:

Nominate PAPYRUS as your universities charity of the year or RAG

Fundraise for PAPYRUS within your sport team or society

Fundraise individually by doing an event or challenge

Get your friends together to put on an event – this can be a good laugh

Your fundraising can be as big or small as you like. Your only aim should be to have a good laugh and enjoyable experience while trying to spread awareness and raise money to help those with thoughts of suicide.
