London to Brighton Cycle 2023

Join thousands of other cyclists and challenge yourself to a 55 mile ride from London to the bustling Brighton seafront! This iconic route takes you through the idyllic English countryside and is fully sign posted, so you can keep your eyes on the road and take in the beautiful scenery.

Date: Sunday 10th September 2023

Starting location: Clapham Common

Start time: Staggered starts between 6:00am – 10:30am (Option to choose when you register)

Finishing location: Brighton Seafront

Minimum Age: 16 (Those aged between 16-18 must obtain a letter of parental consent)

Deposit: £55 to our partner, Skyline Events.

Fundraising Target: £150

A new event to PAPYRUS this year – the London to Brighton cycle.

This fun filled charity cycle ride is about taking on the challenge and seeing the sights. It is perfect for solo-riders wanting a challenge or for teams of cyclists wanting to take on a longer ride together.

You will cruise through the English countryside, with an opportunity to stop at Turners Hill for lunch. You will then make your way down through Brighton to finish on the seafront and celebrate your huge achievement!

Your £55 registration fee covers:

Access to a participant page with training plans and tips, transport guidance, joining instructions and directions

A fully supported event with stationary and roaming mechanical and medical support

Snacks and water stations provided on route

Transport back to London at the end of the ride*
