Take to the skies and enjoy a 10 minute exhilarating flight whilst strapped on to the wing of an vintage plane to raise money for PAPYRUS in 2023!

Wing walking is  a unique experience that you do not want to miss, fly through the air at up to 130mph and at a height of 700ft! Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable day and help save young lives!

How do I book?

You must book to Wing Walk by paying your £100 deposit and registering your details via the providers website using this link.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and will not be secured until you book via the above website.

Please note you may use the form opposite to enquire about the event. This form is for enquiries only and will NOT secure your place on the event. 

How long will the flight last?

The flight lasts approximately 10 minutes from take off to landing.

Can I communicate with the pilot during the Wing walk? 

Wing walkers may communicate with the pilot via hand signals during the flight, this will be explained during the safety briefing before your wing-walk.

Weight Restrictions

Weight restrictions will be in place for your safety.

There is an upper weight limit of 85kg (13 stone 3 lbs). This is an absolute limit that cannot be exceeded.

You will be weighed on the day so please check your weight before your walk. This weight limit will include your clothes & footwear.

No persons under the age of 18 are permitted to carry out wing walking. Participants who wing walk have to be reasonably fit; they need to be:

1. Capable of climbing up on to the top wing to be strapped into the wing-walking harness by a staff member. They need enough strength in their legs, and mobility to climb, and at one point, kneel to reach the rig positioned on the upper wing.

2. Able to withstand the wind pressures of over 100mph whilst flying. The following medical conditions that can cause problems are previous fractures, back strain, arthritis and severe joint sprains, chronic bronchitis, chronic asthma.

The airfield reserve the right to cancel a flight on the day should the pilot judge that the criteria of fitness to fly has not been met by the wing-walking participant.

Your £100 registration fee is non-refundable and you are responsible for reading all terms and conditions before registering.
