Event Date: Saturday 30th July 2022

 Minimum age: 16

 Minimum fundraising target: £200

Deposit amount: £10

Deadline for ballot entry: Sunday 13th March

We are thrilled to be hosting our first ever charity abseil!  Whether you’re a thrill-seeker looking for your next challenge, or just want to do something different then this could be for you! Descend 150ft over the side of the great West Door of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.

Pose for a picture and off you go! Enjoy the thrill of abseiling off one of the UK’s most amazing buildings! Descend 150ft free-hang from above the great West Door of the iconic Liverpool Cathedral, and don’t forget to bring your go pro (optional) to record this fantastic experience. You will have the option to purchase your photo on the day.

You don’t need to be an abseiling expert as the team will teach you everything you need to know on the day.

Why PAPYRUS?

Fundraising for PAPYRUS is rewarding and makes a huge difference to young people living with thoughts of suicide – each £5 you raise can help pay for a life-saving call, text or email to HOPELINEUK.

What Happens Next?

Fill out the form on this page with your details and pay the non-refundable deposit of £10. One of our lovely fundraising team will be in touch soon after with a welcome email and further details to get you all registered!

Ahead of the day we will send you a fundraising kit packed full of fundraising goodies, including a t shirt.  There will be PAPYRUS hoodies available to purchase on the day – or you can let the team know if you’d like to order one before your event!
