Great Birmingham Run Half Marathon 2023
Celebrate everything that’s incredible about Birmingham with us in 2023.
Join thousands of your friends and neighbours at the Great Birmingham Run this year and kick-start Birmingham’s summer of sport. Be a trailblazer and run the route that the world’s elite will follow, starting in the heart of the city and passing iconic city landmarks including the Bullring, Edgbaston, Cannon Hill Park, and Digbeth.
It’s a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities, whether it’s your first 10k or your 50th half marathon. An inclusive celebration of Brummy running, with music blazing, crowds buzzing, legs pumping and fists bumping. The city comes alive on Great Birmingham Run weekend.

Fundraising Target: £400
Please Note: By accepting a charity place on this event you are agreeing to raise the minimum fundraising target. You will be required to raise at least 50% of your fundraising total 8 weeks before the event date.

That’s great news – you can still join Team PAPYRUS and raise vital funds for our life-saving services. There’s no minimum sponsorship amount, as you have purchased your own place, we just ask that you raise what you can and help save young lives! Email the team on fundraising@papyrus-uk.org to let the team know, and you will receive a fundraising toolkit, running vest/t shirt and iron on letters.
