NIGHTRIDER 2019
Nightrider is a fantastic way to discover a city by bike, whilst raising funds for charity. Routes are chosen to allow you to see all the highlights that city has to offer. There is full support, including medical and mechanical back up, as well as regular break stops throughout the night. At each break you’ll find food, water and toilets, with tea and cake provided at the halfway point! At the finish, you can expect a cheer in and a well-earned breakfast and medal.
Please note that the route is on open roads, which are not closed to traffic. You should therefore be confident cycling alongside city traffic. The roads are busy, even at night. Nightrider try to choose quieter roads where possible, however the routes take in some iconic landmarks and as such mean we have to encounter busy areas, with both pedestrians and vehicles.
It is not a race and not timed and we encourage everyone to cycle responsibly. This is a challenge and you will cycle either 50km or 100km (approx. 31 / 62 miles) at night therefore you will need to train. We can give you full training guidelines. You will need to be able to complete the course within 10 hours.
This event is therefore not suitable for beginner cyclists who have not trained.

We’ll give you lots of support, help and advice to set you on the way to fundraising success. To secure your place please register for either the Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool or London Nightrider, complete the short registration form and pay your registration fee. You can select which distance you would like to register for. We’ll then be in touch to welcome you to the team and support you on your way.
