HOPELINE247 British Sign Language Support

HOPELINE247 British Sign Language Support

PAPYRUS has partnered with Sign Solutions to provide British Sign Language users access to HOPELINE247. We understand the importance of providing access for the Deaf community in the prevention of suicide and promotion of positive mental health support. We are delighted to enable British Sign Language users the option to contact PAPYRUS’s suicide prevention helpline using a British Sign Language video interpreter, via the InterpretersLive! Service.

To access HOPELINE247 through a qualified, NRCPD registered British Sign Language interpreter, you can:

Call by clicking the ‘Connect Now’ button further down this page, or by clicking here:  your call will be placed in a queue and answered as soon as a crisis line interpreter becomes available.

Email: interpreterslive@signsolutions.uk.com where one of the team will respond, providing you with a unique link to call the service via an interpreter, between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The InterpretersLive! service is available on-demand 7 days a week between 8am-8pm.

Please note that your call may require PAPYRUS to offer further assistance, therefore a HOPELINE247 Adviser will arrange an appropriate time and date to follow up with you to which British Sign Language support will be provided.
