Unleash your creativity: PAPYRUS Hope Christmas Card Competition is back!
After the resounding success of our 2020 campaign, PAPYRUS is thrilled to announce the return of our popular Hope Christmas Card Competition. This year, we are taking it to the next level by extending our invitation to all young people aged 4 to 18 across the nation to showcase their creativity and spread hope.
In the 2020 competition, we witnessed the brilliance of schoolchildren as they wielded their pens, pencils, and paintbrushes to craft impactful designs. This year, we want you to bring the same energy. Whether you are a digital design wizard, a Picasso with a paintbrush, an artist with oils, or someone with a natural flair for sketching, we want you to channel your inner artist and express what “hope” means to you.
The process is simple – design your creation, and let your imagination run wild. Think about what “hope” looks like to you and translate that vision into a design that will touch hearts and inspire all who receive it. Whether it’s a depiction of a bright star guiding the way, a warm hug of comfort, or a symbol of unity and togetherness, we can’t wait to see what you come up with. Once you have completed your design, email a copy of it to communications@papyrus-uk.org. Ensure if taking a photo of your creation that the design is focused and clear.
The two winning designs, one from the primary school age category and the other from the secondary/sixth form school age category will be proudly printed on the official PAPYRUS 2023 Christmas cards. Imagine your creation spreading hope and cheer across the nation, lighting up the faces of loved ones during the holiday season.
The competition officially opens today, and you have until Monday 28 August to submit your masterpiece. That gives you almost four weeks to create and submit your design. Remember, your art has the power to make a difference, to remind people that hope is a beacon that shines brightly even in the darkest of times.
