Fundraising in University and RAG weeks

Student fundraising can be loads of fun! We depend on student supporters to raise awareness of our life saving services among the young people around them. Fundraising as a student is not only a great way to meet fellow students, try something new and be part of an exciting experience, it is also a very powerful way to help us to smash the stigma surrounding young suicide, creating a safer, healthier and happier society for your peers. Fundraising for a national charity will also help you contribute to community services and stand out in your future career after graduation.

Whether fundraising with your RAG, a group of friends or as part of the Student Union, your support will help us keep our life saving services running and will help us continue our campaigns to save young lives in the UK. Some ideas to get you started are: RAG weeks and raids, street collections, purple parties, comedy or gig nights, or group fundraising through challenges.

For more information contact the fundraising team at fundraising@papyrus-uk.org or 01925 572 444.

Be part of PAPYRUS

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people - male and female - under 35 in the UK. Many thousands more attempt or contemplate suicide, harm themselves or suffer alone, afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.

We are the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We draw from the experience of many who have been touched personally by young suicide across the UK and speak on their behalf in our campaigns and in our work. We need more people who share our aims to join us to strengthen our voice - together we can save young lives.
