Adopt PAPYRUS as your Charity of the Year - nominating us as your Charity of the Year will provide a focus for different events and charity projects throughout the year, thus inspiring support whilst helping raise awareness of the help available for young people.
By fundraising for PAPYRUS with your school or college you will be helping to raise awareness of the confidential help that PAPYRUS provides whilst encouraging young people to talk about positive mental health and suicide prevention. PAPYRUS responds to the needs of vulnerable young people by developing dedicated services such as our national helpline, HOPELineUK. There are many different ways your school can become involved - non-uniform days, bake sales, ‘Wear Purple for PAPYRUS’ days, and concerts are just some of the events you can organise.
We also deliver bespoke training, workshops and seminars in schools and colleges around the UK designed to encourage peer support, improve emotional resilience in young people and help those around them to provide support and advice if they are struggling with suicidal thoughts. If you would like to raise awareness of PAPYRUS and our work through fundraising in your school or college, contact with our team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01925 572 444.
