Fundraising in Memory of a Loved One

Many of our supporters wish to fundraise in memory of a loved one. It is inspiring to learn about how those who have been touched by suicide want to support our life-saving services, enabling us to reach out to more young people in need of help and advice, thus helping to prevent others from enduring the loss of a young person to suicide.

You can create an 'in memory' fundraising page on JustGiving, 'Someone Special' page on Virgin Money Giving, or a 'Celebrate someone special' page on BT Donate. It can support a specific event or collection, or ongoing fundraising.

If you would like to discuss the different options around fundraising in memory of someone, please contact the fundraising team at fundraising@papyrus-uk.org or 01925 572 444.

Be part of PAPYRUS

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people - male and female - under 35 in the UK. Many thousands more attempt or contemplate suicide, harm themselves or suffer alone, afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.

We are the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We draw from the experience of many who have been touched personally by young suicide across the UK and speak on their behalf in our campaigns and in our work. We need more people who share our aims to join us to strengthen our voice - together we can save young lives.
