We offer a competitive salary. Salaries rise incrementally each April, in accordance with our pay arrangements.

We provide London weighting where applicable.

We provide a generous leave entitlement of 25 days per year plus public bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff)

We offer a hybrid working scheme, where a minimum of 60% of the working week are undertaken within the PAPYRUS office.

We also have flexible working hours, where employees can complete their working day anytime between 8 am to 7 pm.*

*Employees working on HOPELINE247 work on a rota system.

We offer a 5% employer contribution pension scheme.

We are committed to providing training on a range of subjects to all employees within the charity as part of our dedication to continued professional development.

We provide a range of suicide prevention training for all staff; this encompasses PAPYRUS’s own SP-OT and SP-EAK sessions as well as ASIST training.

Our holiday purchase scheme gives all employees the opportunity to purchase up to five additional days of annual leave per year (pro-rata for part-time staff).

PAPYRUS employees will receive a minimum of 5 days (pro-rata for part-time staff) for bereavement leave.

We offer employees a Simply Health Cash Plan which allows employees to claim healthcare, optical, dental, and physiotherapy costs. Employees can also access other services such as a GP and Physiotherapist 24/7.

We provide each employee with access to Simply Health, which supports staff with access to free, confidential support with a range of legal support and counselling services. Our employee assistance programme is available 24 hours per day.

After completion of probation, we offer employees four weeks of paid sick leave and then a further four weeks at half pay in any rolling 12 months, in line with our Sickness Absence Management Policy.

We are committed to ensuring all staff members are supported in their health and wellbeing.

Occupational health can provide advice and guidance on supporting staff with regard to their health and wellbeing.

We offer employees access to clinical supervision, to support them in their role, whenever they need it.
