Our corporate partnerships help save young lives.
PAPYRUS works with a range of organisations, through partnerships, that play a vital role in helping smash the stigma around suicide and spread our message of hope. Find out more about our past and current life-saving corporate partners HERE.
Why suicide is everyone’s business:
Our corporate partnerships are just that, a partnership – we work closely with our corporate partners to ensure that:
The relationship is mutually beneficial for both PAPYRUS and the young people we work with, and you.
You are supported throughout the partnership, so you and your employees can make the most of the experience.
We equip you with the knowledge and tools to recognise signs of suicide and support those who may be struggling.
Through a corporate partnership with PAPYRUS – the UK’s only national charity for the prevention of young suicide – there are many ways we can work together, smash the stigma around suicide and save young lives.
Whether it’s a one-off donation or sponsoring an entire project, a gift from your company can save lives. Our vital work wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our corporate partners.
Choose or nominate PAPYRUS as your Charity of the Year and you will have a dedicated contact from our team. Your contact will work with you to create a bespoke partnership that has a lasting impact, educates, and inspires your colleagues. With a range of fundraising, volunteering activities and initiatives to get involved with, you can leave a legacy to carry back into families and communities.
We can offer to come into your workplace to carry out short awareness sessions that help get your employees talking about PAPYRUS and suicide. We believe this is a vital step in helping your employees know where they can turn to for support and also smash stigma around talking about suicide – creating a more suicide-safer community within your workplace.
If you are looking at accessing more in-depth training, we are also happy to discuss other opportunities which include sessions which range from 30 minutes to an intensive 2 day course. To find out more about our training click here.
Training is a great way to equip your employees with the vital skills to help keep themselves and those around them safe. It helps create a suicide-safer environment by opening up safe conversations around suicide and equipping them with the knowledge to confidently support and signpost.
When you become a PAPYRUS partner/supporter you will have access to a Corporate Supporter pack. This pack is tailored towards your organisation to help you get the most out of the partnership.
PAPYRUS also has resources that will help you get the most out of your awareness raising and fundraising including:
- Leaflets and HOPELINE247 business cards
- Collection buckets and tins
- T-shirts and running vests
- Flags and water bottles
- Posters and banners
Donating to PAPYRUS straight from staff pay is a quick and easy way to regularly support us, whether that be a nominated amount or the pennies from your pay, every bit helps. To find out more, please contact corporate@papyrus-uk.org.
During your partnership you will have full access to our dedicated Fundraising and Corporate team who can offer guidance and advice via phone or email (Monday to Friday , 9am -5pm).
You will also have a dedicated point of contact within PAPYRUS, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Our volunteer Champions help PAPYRUS raise awareness of suicide prevention by delivering short talks, known as SP-ARK (Suicide Prevention – Awareness, Resource, Knowledge) sessions in their communities. Champions can provide support at community events, mental health market places, and occasionally at conferences.
As a volunteer, you can help to raise awareness of PAPYRUS and suicide prevention within your local community. For example, you could support us at events and festivals; spread our message of hope on social media; put up posters in your local GP surgery or simply wear a PAPYRUS t-shirt to the gym.
Awareness raising fits around your schedule, and really helps us to spread our message further.
