North West fundraiser for PAPYRUS

The family and friends of Vicky Harrison who died in 2010 are taking on an amazing challenge in aid of PAPYRUS. They are walking from Blackburn to Blackpool Tower on 1 July 2012.

Lauren, on of the event's organisers, writes,

"We are getting together to walk from Witton Park, Blackburn, to Blackpool Tower on Sunday 1st July to raise money for PAPYRUS, the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide; it offers advice and support to those in a similar situation to Vicky. Any donation, no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated. Thank you."

Walkers will be meeting at Witton Park at 10am on Sunday 1st July, setting off to Blackpool around 10.30am and arriving at the tower at around 9pm. You are advised to Bring plenty of water and a decent pair of trainer. The walkers will be making a few detours for food ... and train stations in case you can't do the whole walk! Be part of it at least!
