Become a member,
send us a gift, or volunteer some of your
time - its up to you!
There are many ways we can benefit from
your help and experience. Like many other
voluntary organisations, we need funds to
continue to develop and grow.
So, whether you are able to make a donation
or organise a fundraising activity, you
can help us to continue working.
But there's more to it than just raising
funds. We need people to raise awareness,
not only of the problem of young suicide
but also of the help that is available.
This may involve distributing our booklets
to your local health-care facilities or
joining a local policy making committee.
Whichever role you decide to fulfil, call
us and we will give you the necessary support
to enable you to achieve it.
You can start by completing the membership
form and sending it to us today. You will
receive at least three newsletters per year
and your voice will add strength to those
who, like you, have decided that its time
to act.
Fundraising
ideas!
You could:
• organise a coffee morning, a Bingo
night or a concert
• ask for donations instead of presents
for a birthday or anniversary
• run a marathon - we can supply you
with sponsor forms
• start a fundraising
society,
• buy or sell our Christmas cards
Donating
Did you know that bequests are exempt from
tax? Please talk to your solicitor about
adding PAPYRUS to your beneficiaries.

 |
To
donate online, go to the PAPYRUS
page on the givenow
site. They have a secure payment
facility and can organise Gift
Aid repayments directly with the
Inland Revenue. |
|
If you are a UK taxpayer
and sign a Gift Aid form PAPYRUS can reclaim
an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue for every
£1 you donate. This only applies if you pay
an amount of income tax or capital gains tax
at least equal to the tax that PAPYRUS reclaims
in the tax year.
