PAPYRUS Expands Management Team

PAPYRUS the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide has appointed Udeni Salmon as executive director to provide leadership to the staff team and volunteers, working with the Trustees to secure the future of the charity.
Udeni joins PAPYRUS from The Leonard Cheshire Foundation where she was head of volunteering support.
“This is an exciting stage in the charity’s evolution,” commented Anne Parry, chair of PAPYRUS. “With our strong growth through academic, professional and membership support in recent years we are in an excellent position to extend our work promoting positive mental health and wellbeing with young people and their support groups. The appointment of Udeni Salmon as executive director strengthens our management team taking this lead.”
Says Udeni: “I am passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable young people and looking forward to building a strong organisation that will extend the contribution that PAPYRUS delivers in the prevention of young suicide in the United Kingdom.”
