An Open House was held in November in the famous Fiveways area of Brighton by Rosemary Land’s friends from the Southdown Tennis Club, Nadine and John Tomkins.

The weekend celebrated the opening of THE UTILITY ROOM as an art space displaying stained glass, jewellery, hand-made cards and paintings and included a large number of pots and bowls made by Rosemary.

Another similar event will be held next spring – when Rosemary has made some more pots!”

Rosemary says: “This was a sale of my pots done this year at

evening classes and as a volunteer at Jonathan Chiswell-Jones pottery one day a month. Thanks to Nadine and John Tomkins for organising the sale, and stimulating the members of the Southdown Club and their friends to buy my pots. I am also grateful to my stepson, Adam, for taking a stall at his daughter's school Christmas craft fair and selling some pots there. A good outcome!”

The total sum raised for Papyrus was £450.00

Rosemary lost her daughter almost three years ago and like many bereaved parents wants ‘to do something to prevent this tragedy happening to anyone else’

We’re very grateful to her for choosing to support PAPYRUS.
